Streams of Subclass 132 Business Talent Visa

Processing Time: 16 to 27 days

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must:

  • Have a successful business career with at least two fiscal years of ownership in a business.
  • Hold net assets worth AUD 1.5 million or more.
  • Demonstrate an annual turnover of at least AUD 3 million in one or more businesses.
  • Be under 55 years of age (or older if the nominating state or territory government allows an exception).
  • Be nominated by a state or territory government.
  • Have functional English.
  • Meet health and character requirements.

Application Process:

  1. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect, including skills, qualifications, and business experience.
  2. Obtain a nomination from a state or territory government.
  3. Receive an invitation from the Department of Home Affairs.
  4. Lodge the visa application and submit required documents.
2. Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream

This stream is for entrepreneurs who have secured funding from a venture capital firm to establish or expand a business in Australia.

Processing Time: No standard processing time is available.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must:

  • Have a genuine intention to operate and grow the business.
  • Maintain ownership in the business or investment.
  • Secure venture capital funding of at least AUD 1 million from an Australian Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL) member.
  • Fulfill the requirements of the venture capital agreement.
  • Be nominated by a state or territory government.
  • Have functional English.
  • Meet health and character requirements.

Application Process:
